Call For Help to Keep the Rock Rollin' On
Faith and Caswyn here! Normally we don't like to ask for help and try to keep things as DIY as possible but our backs are against the wall and we find ourselves in a dire situation. Our van, Lulu, with 260,000 miles failed inspection and she needs the dreaded catalytic converter to get her legal, which is very costly. In order to keep playing music to anyone anywhere, we're going to have to invest in a new van for touring (and everyday life, as we only have one vehicle between the two of us). When we met each other, we were coming from very rough places in life and collectively have very minimal savings but decided to live our dreams the best we can together. So now we're reaching out in hopes to get a little help from our friends to keep the rock rollin' on.
It humbles us to do this and there's absolutely no expectation to receive anything but until we can get a replacement van we have had to halt all booking locally and nationally, it's been such a bummer especially after this last 6 week tour which was the best, heartfelt, most rockin' run yet. But the van is the silent 3rd bandmember, the heartbeat of our mission, and no van, no shows.
This van gave us 9 beautiful tours around the country, MANY weekenders regionally and countless 100 mile round trips out to our weekly open mics. We met each other at this van, cried and laughed in this van, chased dreams in this van, hell this van even saved our lives in that accident back in 2023. It's hard for us to think of touring without her, but understand the time is here. Lulu was a gift to Caswyn from his deceased brother with the wishes for him to tour in. The only reason we ever had this beautiful van was that it was a gift from the great beyond, with a hard price to pay. That part of the mission has been accomplished, but we feel there is much more to do.
To buy an adequate vehicle to tour many cross country trips in, we need 10-20k.
10k would get us into something very similar with lowish miles (dodge grand caravan sxt 2017)
15 k could get us into something in between of...
20 k could possibly get us into our level up van with a real bed (chevy 1500 conversion, year pending)
If no one can help, which is okay, times are tight and crazy all around, we will take out a loan, use our savings and will have to take a break from touring for at least a year to get side hustle jobs and get back on our feet. Which would slow down momentum, a bit of a bummer but a reality that we're preparing to face either way, which is okay! But we figured we'd put it out there before we toss in the towel.
If you're a part of making this happen for us we'll play house parties, paint planets, advertise your logo on all upcoming tour tshirts and posters, we'll promote you in every vlog that we ever do, got an idea? Let's talk. We may even name the new van after you. We really dread the idea of slowing this project down at this point. The last tour left us energized and ready to hustle and then we got hit with this news. Life keeps lifing!
So if some of our 11:11 Wishes came true, we'd have a rock'n'roll miracle, get a new-to-us van and continue business as normal, preparing for the 10th and 11th tours! Which we hope to be big beautiful runs! We'd also fix ole Lulu, and retire her to Caswyn's mom, who is also in dire need of a new vehicle... to get around town to the grocery tour and to local appointments. And with all Lulu's been through, we believe she deserves that retirement.

Please note. This is not about money as it's more about a van. If anyone has a lead one a van that needs a home, that would be a huge help. Finding the best new tour van is a big daunting part of the process and anything helps.
We're looking for something similar to Lulu. 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT year and model wise. With under 80k miles on it. Toyota Sienna's are an option. Dream van wise. 2005-20115 hi top Chevy express conversation 1500 vans. No longer then a 10 pass, preferably the groovy ones with cabinets and a bed) would be epic if found with no major rust, oil leaks or any issues in the price range. A wanderer can dream.
